Maureen spent over 13 years as a police officer for the City of Keller, Texas. Nine of those years she held the position of K9 Officer with her K9 partner Rowdy. She and K9 Rowdy worked with multiple agencies in North Texas, receiving commendations from the DEA, FBI, Department of Homeland Security, Federal Prison Systems, and numerous other organizations.

She gained an interest in Explosive Detection K9’s from a family member who worked as a bomb dog handler with the Tulsa International Airport. After receiving several inquiries for detection dog services, Maureen recognized the need for narcotic and explosive detection dog services in the private sector. In August 2015 she formed KSDS, LLC. (K9 Security Detection Services).

Maureen resides in North Texas and is the proud mother of 2 grown children; a son who is a firefighter and a daughter who is a police officer.
